Sadashiv Peth, Pune

Sadashiv Peth is an area located in Pune City, in Maharashtra State of the Republic of India. This name is derived from the name of Sadashivrao Peshwa Sadashiv peth is known for its people and their specific behavioural attributes - found very commonly in the people staying in this peth. Sadashiv peth is predominantly occupied by Brahmans with fair share of some other classes as well. It houses many renowned legendary schools (Bhave School, Renuka Swaroop School, Dnyan Prabodhini), historic temples (Khunya Muralidhar, Narsimha temple, Junnarkar Datta Mandir), many historic wadas (Vishrambaug wada, Vinchurkar wada, etc.) It also has famous traditional maharashtrian cuisine restaurants like Poona
