Radio Clásica is a Spanish radio station, owned and operated by Radio Nacional de España, formerly known as Radio 2. Radio Clásica primarily broadcasts classical music, but also features folk music, jazz, flamenco, zarzuela, opera and popular music. It also has cultural programs dedicated to teaching, literature and dance.
Radio Clásica was launched in 1965 as the Segundo Programa (Second Programme) of RNE, and was known as RNE 2 from 1988 until 1994 and as RNE C from 1994 until 1999.
