In 1991, Maples appeared as a celebrity guest at WWF WrestleMania VII and served as special guest timekeeper in the main event match between Hulk Hogan and defending WWF Champion Sgt. Slaughter. As a host, Maples co-hosted the 1996 & 1997 Miss Universe Pageant, along with the 1997 Miss USA Pageant.[10] She guest starred in Spin City in 1997 and on The Nanny in May 1998.[11][12] In 2013, Maples was featured on Oprah: Where Are They Now?[13] And she was also a recent guest star on the hit Disney show Liv and Maddie. Maples has made appearances in TV shows as well as some films. Among the latter are Executive Decision and Maximum Overdrive. She did not appear as an actress in the award-winning 1998 Todd Solondz movie Happiness.She is listed as part of the cast in the 1999 movie Black and White. Other films include A Christmas Too Many, Loving Annabelle, Two of Hearts, Richie Rich's A Christmas Wish, For Richer or Poorer, Something Wilder, and more. [7] Her newest role as an actress is in Switching Lanes directed by Thomas Mikal Ford, won the feature film silver award, and is set to be released in 2015.[8][9]
Maples and Donald Trump married in 1993, and together had one daughter named Tiffany.[4] Maples went on to star in the Broadway production of The Will Rogers Follies, in which she played "Ziegfeld's favorite," the girlfriend of showman Florenz Ziegfeld.[5] She married Donald two months after the birth of their child, Tiffany Trump, born October 13, 1993.[6]
