Lotus News (Tamil: லோடஸ் ந்யூஸ்) is satellite TV's relay on OCTOBER 11, 2012 headquartered at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and has been successfully broadcasting all its events acquiring a huge local and international Tamil population as its regular viewers. The Lotus News is the Tamil news television channel that started its free live streaming through internet which has increased its access among youths across the state of Tamil Nadu.This channel has its slogan called Unmai malarutum. It recruited India's first transgender news anchor Padmini.[1]
