Felipe Alejandro Gutiérrez Leiva (Spanish pronunciation: [fɛˈlɪpɛ ʕʊˈtjɛrɨsʲ ˈlɛjʋɐ], born 8 October 1990) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays for Eredivisie League club FC Twente as an attacking midfielder.

Club career

Universidad Catolica

He began making his inferiors in Everton de Viña del Mar. Then, a scout from the Universidad Catolica signed him. He made his debut in professional football in 2009 with only 18 years of age. Then in the Copa Chile mark his first goal for the club, against San Pedro de Atacama, opening the mind, as the game would end 4-0 in favor for the "UC". Later in the second phase of the 2010 tournament, Felipe Gutierrez was crowned of the Campeonato Nacional de Chile with Universidad Catolica, scoring two goals, the first scored it O'Higgins the July 31, 2010, and the second was scored in the last Everton to date. On 2011, in the Apertura 2011, showed his great ability, doing a very good campaign, scoring in big games against Colo-Colo and Universidad de Chile.
