Elise Broach (born 20 September 1963, Atlanta, Georgia) is an author from Easton, Connecticut. Among Broach's publications are the acclaimed novels Shakespeare's Secret, Desert Crossing and Masterpiece. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in history from Yale University.
Broach's book When Dinosaurs Came with Everything was a 2008 ALA Notable Children's Book,[1] earned an Illinois Monarch Award nomination[2] and an E.B. White Read Aloud Award,[3] and was listed as the #1 Children's Books of 2007 by TIME.[4]
Shakespeare's Secret was 2006 Edgar Award Juvenile Mystery finalist.[5]
