Al-Rastan District

Al-Rastan District (Arabic: منطقة الرستن‎) is a district (mantiqah) of the Homs Governorate in Syria. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 127,806.[1] The centre of the district is the city of Al-Rastan.

Divisions

The district of Al-Rastan is divided into two sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):

  • Al-Rastan nahiyah (ناحية الرستن): population 64,271.[2]
  • Talbiseh nahiyah (ناحية تلبيسة): population 63,784.[3]
