Kunnathur (Kerala)

Kunnathur (Malayalam: കുന്നത്തൂര്‍ Kunnattūr) is a Taluk in Kollam district, Kerala State, India. The capital of Kunnathur Taluk is Sasthamcottah, a famous place due to a fresh water lake and it is a tourist attraction too. There is a village with the same name in this Taluk and The Kunnathur village is a small village with its headquarters at Nediyavila. It includes the places like Manampuzha, Puthanampalam, Iverkala, Panampthoppu, Nediyavila, Ezhammile(7th stone) etc. are certain places in this village.

1..nediyavila devi temple & 2..kokkamkavu durga devi temple 3..Karimpinpuzha Siva temple & Malanada karna temple. 4.The River kallada only flows towards east besides at Kokkamkave Durga Devi Temple 5.The landmark ends east at the bridge Kunnathur. 6.puthanampalam temple 7.Changanacherry Smaraka Grandhasala(Iverkala) is the first library started in this Taluk. It's registered as No-4 with Kerala Granghasala sangham( now Kerala State Library Council)
