As of 2001 India census,[1] Chockli had a population of 31,779. Males constitute 45% of the population and females 55%. Chockli has an average literacy rate of 85%, which is higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 86% and female literacy of 84%. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
