AdvaMed The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) is a medical device trade association. AdvaMed members consist of medical technology companies. Stephen J. Ubl is AdvaMed’s current President and Chief Executive Officer.[1] AdvaMed’s current Board Chairman is James V. Mazzo, President, Abbott Medical Optics, Inc., and Senior Vice President, Abbott Laboratories.[2] AdvaMed advocates for a legal, regulatory and economic climate that advances global health care by assuring patients can have access to the benefits of medical technology.[3]
